June 2008 Major Website Update

The website has received some huge updates, including shop, and much more. The site has been translated into 20+ languages and the site is customisable by registered users.

Some important changes have taken place over the last couple of months. Membership services have been added to the site, as well as a style refresh. You can now purchase GCM merchandise directly from this site, as well as limited edition artwork.

A major site update is expected later in the year.

In the normal tradition of this website, the styling has been completely overhauled for a fresh new look, as we make our way into 2008. The curves are gone! Curves have been a major feature of the GCMedia.com website for a long time, but it was time to take them out and replace them with nice, clean lines. The site merchandise shop will be up and running soon, including the ability to pay for work via Paypal. More news soon!

The GCMedia.com website has been rebuilt from the ground up using best practices, and using AJAX, ASP.Net 2, and XML technologies to improve the site's usability, code re-use, responsiveness and speed. Every part of the site has been optimised to improve speed and bandwidth usage, even though with the event of broadband, this is less of an issue. The site has many localised versions which automatically initiate depending on where you are in the world. You can also select a different language from the language menu, if you so wish.

Major changes to site style and business have taken place, including business name change and new site style.

GCMWS Logo now a registered trademark

The business logo you see in the top left hand corner of the page is now a registered trademark. It is a series of two marks under No.2409763 as of date 22 December 2005. The six month objection period passed recently and the logo became officially registered on 30 June 2006.

2005 Update

It's been a while since this site was updated due to a hectic year. A number of websites (for clients) are in the pipeline, as well as the continuation of the first major GCMedia project; SmartAdvert. This project is currently in production after 6 months of extensive planning and specification. It is hoped that a fully-functional first version will be available in November 2005. Look at the 'Portfolio' section to look at some of the work we have undertaken during 2004. GCMedia is due for a re-design during 2005, so keep your eyes glued!
